Why store temporarily?
A move rarely goes in one straight line from your old address to your new one. There is often a period in between when your belongings need to stay somewhere. Common situations:
- The sale of your house has gone through, but your new home won’t be ready until later
- You are renovating and want the rooms empty for the builder
- You are going abroad for a while and want to keep your furniture
- You are downsizing and don’t want to decide straight away what to get rid of
- After a death, a home needs to be cleared while the family hasn’t yet decided what to keep
Storage without extra links in the chain

Our movers load your belongings, drive them in our own vans to our warehouse on the Westvlietweg and put them in place there. When you are ready, the same people bring everything to your new address. You don’t need to hire a trailer, pick up a key for a storage unit or lift anything yourself.
Short or long term
You choose how long your belongings stay with us. That could be a few weeks after a move, or a year during a stay abroad. The minimum period is one month.

How to prepare your belongings
Well-packed belongings keep better in storage. A few tips:
- Use sturdy, closed boxes and fill them completely, so they don’t collapse when stacked
- Write the contents on the side, so you can quickly find what you are looking for later
- Empty, clean and dry fridges and freezers before they go into storage
- Have mattresses packed in a mattress cover

What does storage cost?
We charge for storage per m³ per month, with a minimum of one month. If you combine storage with a move, your moving advisor will include both in one quote. Start with a price estimate through our quote tool.
